The third version of Nike Legend series, Nike Air Legend III, officially called Nike Tiempo Legend III is a great example of making a fantastic, well build and crafted product even better. It's simply, perfecting something that is already perfect.

How did Nike achieve it?

First, the sole-plate has been separated into two parts the heel plate and the forefoot plate (split outsole). Outsoles composed of two-piece plate makes maneuvering much easier and faster and give the players much greater comfort.

Second, The Nike's team replaced the Air Zoom Unit with high performance air cushioning Poron. It provides enough comfort while brings the feet a bit lower to the ground. No Air Zoom in the boot is the reason why officially the boot has been named Nike Tiempo Legend III, not Air Legend III.

Other improvements, like:

moving the swoosh back a little, which allowed to add more Kangaroo Leather,

or trimming up the tongue a bit to make it even more aerodynamic,
are just an icing on the cake.

Description

UPPER:

Kangaroo leather (obviously) - the best type of leather there is; very soft, strong and easily molds to your feet. It features unique stitching patterns to retain the boots shape and performance.

Symmetrical lacing system with fold-over tongue.

MIDSOLE:

High-Tech molded sock liner (the layer of rigid and flexible materials, which comes into direct contact with your foot) with Poron cushioning.

OUTSOLE:

Lightweight TPU - innovative split outsole with glass fiber shank and forefoot flex grooves and combination of conical and bladed studs.

Available for these types of surfaces:
FG-Firm Ground and SG-Soft Ground (replaceable studs).
Also available in the new All Ground sole-plate.
